I went shopping for a dress today. For me, it is about as enjoyable as going to the dentist.
I went to six stores. That's right, six stores and looked at over a hundred dresses. If I have to pay money for a dress, it should have all of it's parts. There were only 3 or 4 with sleeves. 3 or 4!
Is there a fabric shortage I don't know about?

Mixed Message
The Olympics are over. It has been two weeks of triumphs, tragedies, tears and medals.
The day after Michael Phelps won his 8th medal, his picture appeared on the front page of the Boston Globe. Off to the side were two pictures - the two servicemen who were killed in Iraq on the same day.
There on the front page - Michael Phelps setting an incredible record with his whole life in front of him. Next to him, smaller were the two men whose lives were over.
Big and little pictures on the same page. Is that how we will remember them?
